In order to achieve the dark rich colors, I paint on the china sink 2 to 4 times with firings in between to embed the paint in the glaze. These are custom consignment pieces, but you can order something similar or customize your own piece. Because each piece is time consuming, lead time for each item varies. Sinks can be designed to match decor, tiles, wallpaper or fabric. Painted sinks are very durable and may be cleaned with a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleanser. I use Windex and a soft scrub type cleanser. These are very durable and withstand years of use and cleaning. Price to paint a china sink starts at $350. It depends on the design and complexity, how many firings, gold accents, etc. This doesn't include the cost of the sink which can be $50. to $200. depending on the style.
